The continuous improvement of the intelligent level of road infrastructure has effectively promoted the coordinated development of human-vehicle-road. This report sorts out a number of strategies related to intelligent road infrastructure issued by the state in 2020. The central government has issued intensive policies，and the planning and construction of intelligent road infrastructure has become a national strategy. By analyzing the landing application of intelligent road infrastructure，intelligent highways is determined as the main application scenario，and the development status of subdivided fields such as C-V2X technology of Internet of Vehicles，the device market of roadside perception，highway overload control and off-site law enforcement and the cloud control platform are introduced. At the same time，the situation of intelligent highways opened in some provinces in 2020 are Clarified. Finally，aiming at the problems existing in the development of intelligent road infrastructure，this paper puts forward some suggestions，such as taking data as the development core，breaking through the core technology，exploring the direction of technological innovation，and unifying relevant standards and technical specifications.
