In 2019，the domestic and international macro environment pressure increased sharply，all kinds of risks were intertwined and superimposed，and natural disasters occurred frequently. Facing such complicated and changeable environmental background，Songyuan city，under the guidance of general secretary Xi Jinping’s spirit of revitalizing northeast China，accelerated the structural reform of supply measurement and improved the quality of economic development. The city’s economic and social development has achieved remarkable results，and the economic growth rate has picked up steadily. However，due to the great impact of the external environment，the comprehensive competitiveness has decreased to a certain extent compared with other regions in the country. The single industrial structure and the slow development of new kinetic energy have become the constraints of economic development. In the future，we still need to take the construction of “Western Ecological Economic Zone of Jilin Province” as the goal，give further play to the ecological advantages，cultivate the endogenous driving force of economic development，promote the transformation and upgrading of economic structure and improve the competitiveness of economic development.
