This paper is based on the Guangzhou youth living status and consumption characteristics from the 2021 to the 2021. The study found that the overall reading situation of Guangzhou youth is a good trend，rich leisure cultural life；its cultural consumption expenditure by gender，education，household registration，age，monthly income，education expectations；Guangzhou youth cultural consumption has heavy entertainment culture consumption，light development cultural consumption，and group internal differences，there are still a large number of low cultural consumption youth problems.
