The outbreak of pneumonia in Xinguan，which began at the end of 2019，had a great impact on China’s economic and social development，and the Shenzhen medical equipment industry responded quickly with its own technical support，industrial foundation and innovation ability. This paper analyzes the positive factors which affect the resilience of Shenzhen medical equipment industry，such as the good business environment to promote the benign development of the industry，the innovation ability to enhance the ability of crisis response，the high proportion of enterprises to improve the overall ability to resist risk，intelligent manufacturing and industrial chain cooperation to open the industry cross-border channels，the advantages of international competitiveness are conducive to expanding the downstream market，the constraints such as key technologies and core components，advanced technology reserves need to be enhanced and production chain operation controlled by human forces. Based on the above analysis，in order to further strengthen the toughness of medical device industry，Shenzhen should actively deal with the industry reconstruction in post-epidemic era，promote medical device industry agglomeration，promote innovation by financial service and medical treatment agglomeration，and promote manufacturing intelligence and management flexibility.
