This paper analyzes the current situation of the industry of intracranial EEG acquisition devices represented by SEEG （stereotactic electroencephalogram），and analyzes the bottleneck of the market growth of EEG acquisition instruments. It was introduced into China after 2014，showing high-speed growth. In 2019，there were about 100 hospitals carrying out SEEG operation in China，including more than 30 epileptic centers. But we should also see that，even if the growth of SEEG surgery is very rapid，compared with the huge demand，SEEG surgical treatment is facing a serious shortage of supply；SEEG epileptic surgery time-consuming，high consumption of medical resources；SEEG epileptic surgery costs are relatively high. In this paper，we propose （1）to reduce the cost of consumables by adequate market competition；（2）to reduce the operating threshold through the application of advanced instruments；（3）to replace heavy repetitive work with AI to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency of SEEG.
