The economy has been greatly affected by COVID-19. Thanks to the effective countermeasures，the economic situation in Haiti was relatively stable. Due to the support of the international community，the social situation was improved，and protests decreased，but the social security problem remained to be severe. Haiti maintained good relations with the United States，but its relationship with Dominican Republic was still tense and turbulent. The relations with China were stable.
