    2019~2021年中国大规模高性能区块链网络基础设施建设实践

    摘要

    大规模区块链节点P2P通信,效率低、稳定性差,难以支撑工业级生产应用。区块链产业要想进一步扩大规模,需要建设一套面向区块链的公共网络基础设施,以提升区块链服务能力的弹性和便捷性,加速产业发展。本报告分析了传统互联网高并发、低延迟网络技术的架构和特点,以及区块链对等网络的性能问题。结合几个面向区块链的网络优化项目可以看出,区块链技术人员已经借鉴互联网网络优化技术和理念,进行了多种尝试。蚂蚁链面对大规模区块链网络通信的挑战,设计了一套支撑区块链通信加速和服务扩展的网络系统——区块链传输网络(BlockchainTransmissionNetwork,BTN)。在技术上,BTN定义了可路由区块链消息传输协议,结合网络优化技术,实现了高性能通信。同时,解决了网络基础设施支持区块链通信时的安全、中立需求,保持了区块链节点对等性的根本特质。区块链网络基础设施有助于产业规模扩大,有助于价值通信网络形成,不论是从技术角度还是从产业发展角度来说,都是一个值得探索的方向。

    Abstract

    Large-scale P2P communication of blockchain nodes is of low efficiency and poor stability,which is difficult to support industrial application. To make the scale of the blockchain industry bigger,it is necessary to build a set of blockchain-oriented public network infrastructure to improve the flexibility and convenience of the blockchain service,it will accelerate the development of the blockchain industry. This report first analyzes the architecture and characteristics of Internet network technology with high concurrency and low latency,as well as the performance problems of blockchain peer-to-peer network. Combining with several blockchain-oriented network optimization projects,it can be seen that blockchain engineers have made a variety of attempts by referring to Internet network optimization technologies and concepts. In the face of the challenge of large-scale blockchain network communication,AntChain designed a set of network system supporting blockchain communication acceleration and service expansion—BTN (Blockchain Transmission Network). Technically,BTN defines the Routeable Blockchain Message Protocol,which,combined with network optimization technology,realizes high-performance communication. At the same time,the security and neutrality of blockchain network infrastructure are supported,and the basic characteristics of peer-to-peer of blockchain nodes are maintained. Blockchain network infrastructure contributes to the improvement of industrial scale and the formation of value communication network. It is a direction worth exploring from both the perspective of technology and the perspective of industrial development.
