In this paper，the import and export data of medical equipment in 2019 was combed，and the import and export situation of medical equipment in China was analyzed in details. From the industrial point of view，innovation-driven development has promoted the industrial cluster effect obviously，the product structure has been further optimized，and the internationalization of leading enterprises has accelerated，especially in ASEAN，“Belt and Road” countries along the increase of trade activities，all of which have minimized the negative impact of Sino-US trade frictions on the industry. It is expected that China’s medical equipment foreign trade will continue to maintain double-digit growth by 2020，and the annual medical equipment foreign trade is expected to exceed US $60 billion.
