The integrated application of blockchain technology is a key driving force of new technological innovation and industrial transformation. Many countries around the world are accelerating the development of blockchain technology. China has incorporated blockchain technology into the “New Infrastructure” and the Fourteenth Plan，and many policies have been issued throughout the country to actively encourage technological development of block chains. Consensus algorithms，as the core of blockchain technology，fundamentally determine the system’s overall performance and system security. In this paper，we review and discuss the important consensus algorithms in blockchain development，providing references for the innovation and development of block link technology in the future.
