Income inequality is the first and foremost problem that influences China’s social and economic development. The paper firstly analyzes China’s income inequalities between urban and rural areas，and then decomposes the income gap between these two areas. Furthermore，the paper introduces policy changes on income distribution and income redistribution in 2010. At last，the paper reaches its conclusions and proposes solutions to narrow the urban-rural income gap.
