Compared with other regions in the country，the Yangtze River Delta region’s intangible cultural heritage protection started early，with outstanding achievements，and it has distinct characteristics in type and geographical distribution. First，the types of intangible cultural heritage in the Yangtze River Delta are highly similar in types and traditional techniques. The category of intangible cultural heritage is developed，and the intangible cultural heritage of folklore，traditional art，and traditional dance is rich，which reflects the integration of cultures from all parts of the Yangtze River Delta in the long history of development. In fact，these types are also the development of non-heritage in the three provinces and one city in the future regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta. Second，the regional distribution of intangible heritage in the Yangtze River Delta has a distinct multi-center feature. In general，the development and interaction of these intangible cultural circles will effectively promote the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta.
