Natural forest is the main body of the forest resources in China，and plays an important role in ecological construction. In fact，China’s practice in the protection of natural forest has gone through a long period of time. Correspondingly，the natural forest protection policy，acting as the guiding document for the construction of natural forest，has also undergone various reforms. First of all，the general situation of natural forest resources in China were summarized. And the forestry policy system of China was carded in order to explored deeply the formulation process. Finally，trying to protect all the natural forests，five policy recommendations were identified in the paper.
