Based on the pre-constructed tourism safety degree and tourist safety sensing evaluation index system，this paper analyzes the tourism safety index data of the sample areas in 2020. The study finds that the tourism safety degree of the sample areas is generally in a safe state，and the tourist safety perception value slightly lower than the safety expectations of tourists，tourists in central and western cities have a relatively high sense of safety，and the sense of safety of destination tourists still needs to be improved. This article reflects on and analyzed problem how to ensure the personal safety of tourists in tourist attractions and enhance the sense of safety of tourists；how to coordinate epidemic prevention and control and safety management in tourist places to keep the bottom line of safety；how to ensure the safety of cultural relics and keep the lifeline of cultural relic protection. At the same time，suggestions are put forward to enhance tourists’ safety awareness；build a network of epidemic prevention and control in tourist destinations；strengthen cruise epidemic prevention measures；innovate ancient building fire management systems and other management suggestions to provide scientific basis and practical reference for promoting the formulation of tourist destination safety management countermeasures.
