Based on the 95 travel-related social security incidents that occurred in 2020，this article analyzes the situation of travel-related social security incidents in 2020，and looks forward to the trend of the situation of travel-related social security incidents in 2021. This paper analyzes the time and space characteristics of travel-related social security incidents，and analyzes the causes of travel-related social security incidents from five aspects，including personnel，facilities and equipment，environment，management，and uncontrollable factors. The study found that the number of travel-related social security incidents in 2020 has decreased，but security management and control is still severe and complex；security incidents spread rapidly and the scope of influence is further expanded；management rights and responsibilities still need to be improved，and coordination work is more difficult. Looking forward to the travel-related social security situation in 2021，it is necessary to strengthen online public opinion monitoring and raise awareness of crisis；take advantage of the development trend of “cloud tourism” to actively guide public participation；and create a good tourism market environment with the security management system as a guarantee.
