Natural disasters are one of the main factors affecting tourism safety in China. The analysis of domestic travel-related natural disaster safety incidents shows that the number of travel-related natural disaster safety incidents in 2020 is slightly lower than that in 2019，and the number of deaths is significantly lower，reaching the lowest point in the past eight years. The main natural disasters that affect tourism safety are flood disasters and meteorological disasters. It is expected that the number of travel-related natural disaster safety incidents will show a steady decline trend in 2021. As the epidemic becomes normal，priority should be given to epidemic prevention and control，natural disaster prevention and control，comprehensive management，and emergency management. It is urgent for all sectors of society to cooperate，raise people’s safety awareness，and do a good job in the prevention and response of natural disasters related to travel.
