Since the 18th National Congress of the Party，Sichuan Province has carried the construction of ecological civilization and the protection of ecological environment through the whole process of economic and social construction，and has continuously promoted the construction of beautiful Sichuan. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period，the contradiction between the development and protection of Sichuan Province was still prominent，the difficulty of further reducing pollutant emissions was increased，and the ecological security situation was grim. It was urgent to strengthen the protection，management and supervision of the ecological environment and promote the green transformation of all aspects and the whole process. On the basis of the previous systematic research，we put forward some suggestions on the spatial pattern of ecological environment，ecological protection and restoration，intensive utilization of natural resources，pollution prevention and control，transformation of production and life style，exploration of practical mechanism，and modern environmental control system in Sichuan Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
