Tourist attractions are the important carrier of tourism activities，the core focus of tourism safety management，and an important part of high-quality tourism development. With the increasing number of tourist attractions and the growing development of emerging tourism，the factors affecting the safety of tourist attractions are complex and diverse，and the safety risks of tourist attractions are becoming more prominent while the safety management is increasing. In this paper，based on the safety incidents of tourist attractions in China in 2020（excluding Hong Kong，Macao and Taiwan），the overall situation，development situation，characteristics and causes are summarized，and the prospect analysis and targeted suggestions for effective management are put forward，in order to provide reference for future safety management of tourist attractions.
