An initial attempt was made to examine the effects of Chinese teens’ perceived privacy risk and perceived privacy benefits on their online privacy protection behaviors，with information privacy concerns treated as a mediator variable. The questionnaire survey data（N=1538）collected from the teen respondents in 7 provinces（or municipalities and autonomous regions）in the eastern，central and western parts of Mainland China were analyzed by the structural equation model（SEM）method. Findings showed the effects of teens’ perceived privacy benefits on their information privacy concerns and online privacy protection behaviors are insignificant，and information privacy concerns do not mediate the relationship between perceived privacy benefits and online privacy protection behaviors；the effects of teens’ perceived privacy risk on their online privacy protection behaviors are significantly positive，and information privacy concerns have mediating effect on them.
