It is preliminary forecasted that by the end of 2008，there will be an incremental of 12 million new employees in the whole country，achieving the annual goal by 120%. The reemployed population will be 5.54 million，achieving the annual goal by 110%：there will be 1.30 million persons who have difficulty in finding a job getting employed，achieving the annual goal by 130%. The national registered unemployed population is around 8.45 million，and the urban registered unemployment rate will remains 4.0%. As the economic growth rate will decline in 2009，the employment situation will turn to fiercer. We must spare no efforts in increasing the quantity of jobs and encourage establishing business to prevent the swift growth of the unemployed population in the economic deceleration period. On the other hand，we should guarantee employment quality and ensure the realization of minimum wage standards，overtime payment，occupational safety and basic social insurance.
