Based on the statistical results of economic indices in the first three quarters of 2008，the author makes a judgment with the economic development situation in 2008 and thinks that China’s current macroeconomic situation is steady and pretty fast economic operation and continued decline of the price. It is proposed to grasp the major contradiction in the current economic development to respond to complicated and varying conditions with close attention paid to the slowdown of the economic growth rate，the slowdown of the CPI growth：and the variance in the flow direction of social funds. In this article，the author makes a sufficient description with the favorable and unfavorable conditions in the economic development in 2009，puts forward making efforts to promote the steady and pretty fast economic development，and gives the policy advice of promoting economic growth through fiscal policy，adjusting export policy，expanding domestic demand and better balancing the grain price relationship.
