China International Import Expo（CIIE）is a major measure of China to further expand opening up to the outside world in the new era. In this special period as the COVID-19 sweeps around the world，the 3^rd CIIE is given a new mission to serve as an important window and bond for building the new development pattern in which domestic circulation and international circulation promote each other and boosting global economic recovery. The success of the 3^rd CIIE provides an important platform for building the “dual-circulation” development pattern. In the future，it is necessary to further amplify the spillover effects of CIIE，give play to the role of CIIE as a bond and a platform，strengthen the strategic linkage of the Yangtze River Delta，and the BRI construction，so as to facilitate the construction of the new development pattern and promote higher-quality development of Chinese economy.
