2012 is remarkable in China's cause of aging. The eighteenth National Congress of CPC made strategic plan to face population aging actively and it was upgraded to legal height by the amended version of"the Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly of the people's Republic of China" With the introduction of series of intensive aging policies, the cause of aging is boosting. Meanwhile, there exist problems e.g.the system dealing with rapid aging is yet to be completed, the support for the elderly and health care system is less developed, services for the elderly is unbalanced and the friendly environment construction lags behind what is needed etc. In 2013, China's cause of aging will face unprecedented opportunities with the overall implementation of the relative strategic plans of the Central Committee of CPC and the 12th Five-Year Plan for the Development of China's Cause of Aging. <<
