The central innovation district (CID) is the most concentrated area not only of knowledge intensive industry, but also of senior intellectuals. Nowadays, confronted with the national strategy of the Central Plains Economic Region construction, the urgent agenda of innovation drive development, and increasing pressure of regional competition, Henan Province should rely on Zhengzhou High & New Technology Industries Development Zone to accelerate the construction of CID. It is necessary for Zhengzhou City to learn from the developed areas both at home and abroad, combine with the current development situation and its evolutionary trend, make full use of the good foundation and exert comparative advantages. In the end, the authors give some suggestion, which consist of preparation for development plan, striving for the national level support, strengthening the leadership and technology platform construction, promotion of innovation elements concentration and implement differentiation assessment. <<
