Industrial foreign trade in Henan grows sustainably since 2012. It presents some new characteristics, which are the outstanding volatile growth, the rapid growth of foreign investment enterprise, and optimization of export products' structure and regional structure. Nevertheless, industrial foreign trade in Henan faces many problems, such as the small overall scale, the dependence on processing trade, and the bottom situation in the global value chain.
