The paper described the the new generation of migrant workers' social identity from four aspects: yearning degree to city life, communication in city, condition of fusion into urban lifestyle, citizen consciousness and social participation. The paper points out that there are still some difficulties to realize a full sense of new generation of migrant workers' social identity to the cities and true meaning of city people. The reason lies in that there are still defects in the system design about new generation of migrant workers. <<
