In China, the development of the Internet has a significant economic impact on cities with industrial scale advantages and transportation advantages. This article mainly uses the number of users and the proportion of Internet economic revenue as an indicator of feedback economic effects, and analyzes the impact of Internet development on China's overall economic growth through data presentation and the use of knowledge in economics to build analytical models. Studies have shown that with the development of the technological revolution, the number of Internet users has continued to increase, and the Internet's impact on China's economy has also been significant. However, for the western region of China, the positive economic impact of the Internet effect is not obvious. The development of consumption driven by the innovation of the Internet, and convenient payment methods between users and merchants, not only drive technological innovation, but also lead to the optimization of the Internet economic structure. Based on the empirical research conclusions, this article puts forward policy recommendations around macroeconomic operation, optimized resource allocation, talent introduction and retention.
