In the 21st century，Henan’s Urban economy developed rapidly，which had completed the industrial restructuring of the “3：2：1”，and the urban social structure also transformed rapidly. The traditional social structure has been continuously disintegrated，and the new that is compatible with urban economic development has been continuously formed. New social classes emerged in the new social structure，such as new media industry，freelancers etc，and showed a new form in terms of occupational status，economic income，living conditions，and consumption characteristics. These new forms and the differences between these social classes are not only the result of the rapid development of the urban economy，but also the overall harmony of the social structure. Only a harmonious social structure can adapt to and promote the rapid development of the economy. So it is necessary for achieving coordinated development of society and economy to optimize the social structure of Henan’s cities.
