This article investigates and evaluates the current situation of implementation of judicial transparency through websites by higher people's courts of 26 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government and intermediate people's courts of 43 larger cities. It examines the level of judicial transparency of courts by focusing on the following five aspects: information about the work of the court, litigation guide, information about the trial of cases, information about the execution of judgments, and judicial statistics, summarizes and analyses the progresses made and problems existing in the implementation of judicial transparency by people's courts, and puts forward suggestions on further improving the system of judicial transparency.
