独立法人、独立校园的中外合作大学是我国近几年高等教育领域中的一种新实践,其管理体制、运行模式、教学特点、教师评价标准等方面有别于国内公办大学。从目前其培养的学生质量来看,基本实现了高质量就业、高质量升学。本文试图归纳总结三所中外合作大学的基本情况、学生就业升学特点,以及现存的问题,对比国内公办高校,提出在高校去行政化、激发学生自主学习和创新性、改革教师评价体系等方面可供借鉴的实践方法和观点。
<<Higher Education Institutions co-sponsored by Chinese and foreign parent institutions managed by independent legal persons and having their own campuses have appeared in the higher education sector as new entities. Their management systems,operation patterns,characteristics of teaching practice,and standards used to evaluate the qualifications of academics are quite different from those prevailing in domestic public institutions. As far as the quality of graduates of these newly founded institutions is concerned,a fairly high proportion of them could find fairly good jobs and could aspire to further their studies in graduate programs provided by high-quality institutions. This article tries to provide a general summary of the basic conditions of three such institutions with regard to their basic data,the characteristic features of their graduates in employment and further advanced studies,as well as existing problems and makes a comparison with conditions prevailing in domestic institutions,and advances the author’s views concerning worthy experiences to be borrowed from these new institutions in dealing with such problems as:how to reduce administrative interferences in academic matters,how to stimulate the initiative and creativity of students in their studies,and how to improve the system of evaluation of college teachers.
