In 2020，the social security order in Shenzhen has continued to improve and has been further consolidated. The number of 110 reported criminal security police cases and the death toll of road traffic accidents has dropped sharply. Taken the security and stability maintenance work for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of special economic zones as the theme of the whole year’s public security work，Shenzhen public security organ has spared no effort to fight against the epidemic situation，to prevent risks，to ensure safety，and to protect stability. Through six measures such as epidemic prevention，taking severe measures against grave illegal and criminal activities，curbing smuggling and stowaway，perfecting the social security prevention and control system，strengthening the management of dangerous explosive goods and special industries，and strengthening traffic safety management and so on，Shenzhen has tried to ensure the social stability and people’s peace in this city. In view of the social security situation in 2021，this report proposes to do a good job in five aspects，including comprehensively strengthening the normalization，maintaining the high-pressure situation，strengthening the public security governance，consolidating the grassroots-level basic work，and promoting the standardization of public security law enforcement，in order to promote the further improvement of social security.
