The quality of financial services plays an increasingly important role in the development of the real economy. The development of financial services in Guangzhou shows great potential because of the expanding scale of financial industry and the increasing variety of financial products. However，there are still problems. Firstly，the development level of financial sector needs to be improved. Besides，the coordinated development degree of financial sector in different regions is not enough. Additionally，the level of financial internationalization is relatively insufficient，and the financial ecosystem is not perfect. To this end，this article aims to sort out and study the problems in the provision of financial services in the high-quality development of Guangzhou，and proposes targeted suggestions and references for further enhancing Guangzhou financial services’ ability to serve the real economy and promoting high-quality economic development during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period.
