As one of the important types of education，private vocational education provides a large number of high-quality and skilled talents for China’s modernization construction，and has a far-reaching impact on China’s industrial development and even the development of the whole economy and society. This chapter will introduce the development of private vocational education in China in the past year from four aspects：policy environment，development situation，problems and implications. First，the paper listed policy documents related to private vocational education in recent years from the perspectives of enrollment policy，financial policy，teacher policy and the construction of modern education system. Second，based on statistical data，it is found that in 2019 there is still an imbalance in the development between private vocational education and public vocational education，and there are less qualified teachers in private vocational education，and there is insufficient for the government to provide private vocational colleges with fund support. Finally，this paper combined with the policy and related research，proposed that the future private vocational education should insist on the connotation of development，multichannel investment，and build a team of high-quality teachers.
