The pilot free trade zones have made outstanding achievements in building international business environment that’s legalized，internationalized and convenient. Six batches of pilot reform experience have been replicated and promoted nationwide，creating significant institutional spillover effects. Under the complex and volatile international situations，what are crucial for the pilot free trade zones are to maintain the institutional bottom line in the course of opening up and to promote institutional innovation in a coordinated way under the various levels of opening. As the institutional “experimental field” of high-level opening，the pilot free trade zones should actively lead the innovation of trade rules，expand the scope of RMB settlement，and promote the internationalization of RMB.
