Based on the related definition in the “Administrative Regulation of National Popular Science Base Identification （Draft）” （to be released），this paper takes an investigation on Guangzhou popular science facility resources，and master the accessible popular science facility resources correspond to the four types in the definition of the Regulation. According to Guangzhou Popular Science 11th Plan and the actual situation of facility resources we investigated，this paper also evaluates the potential of the resources that is possible to become popular science base in recent years （within 5 years），and states the key object for constructing of Guangzhou popular science facility resources，with purpose of providing reference for government in formulating popular science base policies and developing popular science programs.
