The digital protection of the intangible cultural heritage in the upper reaches of the Yellow River has made some achievements. The government has made scientific plans and issued a series of policies to train the digital talents. At the same time，databases and data platform for ICH has been built. However，there are still some problems for digital protection of ICH，such as insufficient diversification of forms of digital protection，lack of sufficient financial support，lack of full utilization of advanced technologies and equipment，lack of database construction and lack of professional talents，imbalance in regional construction，lack of awareness of publicity and promotion，etc. To improve these conditions，we need to make full use of state support policies，strengthen the construction of effective mechanisms for the protection of the intangible cultural heritage，build a database of the ICH，build a digital museum of the ICH，and enrich the means of protection with advanced science and technology，increase financial support，focus on training digital technology personnel and professional team.
