As an important ecological barrier of the Yellow River Basin and an important part of “China Water Tower”，ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin in Sichuan plays a pivotal role. Through summarizing the main measures of ecological protection and high quality development in Sichuan，and based on systematic analysis the problems such as insufficient internal driving force for economic development，industries with distinctive advantages developed slowly，insufficient innovation ability，etc. Then it puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of seizing policy opportunities，increasing investment，cultivating ecological industry，innovating system and mechanism，to promote the Yellow River basin ecological protection and high quality development in Sichuan province.
