Jingpo nationality is one of the ethnic minorities with a long history in China，mainly inhabiting in the Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. It is a cross-border ethnic group between China and Myanmar，continuously creating，developing，inheriting and accumulating in the long history some rich and colorful intangible cultural heritages，which have survived as an important part of China’s intangible cultural heritage. By sorting out intangible cultural heritage of the Jingpo people and their inheritors in the national and provincial intangible cultural heritage，the report discusses the basic experience，existing problems and deficiencies in the protection and inheritance. According to the report，we can strengthen the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage of Jinpo nationality by improving the related laws and regulations and by perfecting the declaration and management of heritage projects. It can also make improvements by strengthening the support from talents，promoting the reform of Jingpo cultural heritage modes，reinforcing the construction of new media，and enhancing the communicative power of intangible cultural heritage.
