From 2000 to 2019，the per capita value of all types of the residents’ consumption demand data in Hainan’s urban and rural evidently continued to increase. The residents’ total consumption in 2019 was 8.05 times that of 2000，the material consumption was 7.43 times and the immaterial consumption was 9.56 times. The proportion of the residents’ immaterial consumption remarkably rose over 5.44 percentage points，showing a certain upgrading change of the consumption structure. But the residents’ consumption rate certainly fell from 36.66% to 35.48%，it rose evidently since the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. The residents’ amassment rate slightly continued to rise from 27.01% to 27.04%，which in return aggravate the inhibition of consumption demand. The regional disparity of the residents’ total consumption，material consumption and immaterial consumption roundly continued to be reduced；and the urban and rural ratio of the residents’ total consumption，material consumption and immaterial consumption roundly continued to be reduced.
