The introduction of the opinions on deepening the integration of sports and education and promoting the healthy development of teenagers，the overall plan for deepening the reform of educational evaluation in the new era，and the opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school physical education in the new era have pointed out the direction for better carrying out the integration of sports and education in the new era. This report reviews sport and education integration policies’ formulation，introduction background，achievements accomplished and typical cases in a bid to examine the dilemma and future of sport and education integration. On the whole，despite a series of achievements，there are still some urgent problems unresolved in the implementation of current sport and education integration policies，such as the deviation of ideas between physical education and education，practical difficulties in school physical education，and a lack of management synergy between departments. Therefore，upgrading physical education philosophy，strengthening school physical education，and integrating the resources of sport and education departments to form an educational synergy would be the key measures for future integration of sport and education.
