The Trust industry is under the pressure of transformation. Even the multiple optional transformation directions，the Trust financing firms must be supplied with the long term strategy and planning instead of the short term and slight adjustment. The paper studied the necessity and the feasibility of the standardized-product investment trust business，especially，the TOF（Trust of Fund） for the Trust industry transformation. In the view of author，The Top-design and systematization of the TOF business is necessary to the success of transformation. Five core capabilities are proposed up in the paper，including ① investment fund assessment，② the strategy and risk assessment，③ investment research and risk controlling system，④ allocation and portfolio management，and ⑤ product design and operation service.
