In 2020，Guangzhou actively responded to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and the pressure of the economy downward，strengthened the efforts of “Six Stability” and “Six Protection”，and took precise measures in key areas such as the disadvantaged groups，new employment，unemployment and reemployment. The employment situation of the whole city gradually stabilizes，but it also faces general and structural contradictions. Based on the current economic and social development reality of Guangzhou，this report puts forward three suggestions：First，excavate the new connotation of employment and promote the hierarchical development of the employed population. Second，meet the new needs of enterprises and improve the precision of market players’ assistance. Third，guard against new market risks and deal with complicated labor relations.
