The international，regional and global governance books are think tank reports that conduct annual monitoring and empirical research on world development and hotspots. This article takes the edition of 2020 international，regional and global governance Pishu as the research object，making a more comprehensive description toward the creation of Pishu by analyzing the number of publications，research institutions and authors，academic quality，influences as well as other aspects. At the same time，this article also associates the disciplinary features of international and regional studies with the practical problems in the creation of the Pishu and puts forward three suggestions for the future development：further emphasize the policy advice and provide academic support for foreign affairs；refine positioning of the research direction，highlight the research focus，and strengthen the professionalism and pertinence；form an interdisciplinary，interagency，and transnational joint creation mechanism.
