Health and retirement industry is an important part of modern service industry in China，which covers many subsectors such as health，old-age care，health care and medical treatment. The data of 111types of 40 series health and retirement Pishu published from 2004 to 2020 is analyzed statistically. The statistical results show that the research can be divided into four research areas，namely health and health care，old-age care，health care and medical reform，Chinese medicine and medicine. Overall，the total number of published series，published books and reports are increasing year by year. Compared with the results of all books，the quality of health and retirement Pishu are higher，but the time normalization needs to be further improved. Based on the analysis of word frequency and knowledge atlas，it is found that the hot topics of health and retirement year books in recent years mainly focus on health industry，health service，aging finance，aging industry，hospital competitiveness，traditional Chinese medicine culture and inheritance. The report describes the research contents，data statistics，countermeasure and suggestion of the health and retirement Pishu under the novel coronavirus epidemic situation，and puts forward some suggestions on the specialization of health and retirement year books，such as the choice of topics，the accumulation of data and the standardization of publishing mechanism. This report provides reference for improving the quality and value of the existing health and retirement Pishu，and also provides some guidance for more researchers in related research fields to join the research of the health and retirement Pishu.
