In the year of 2009，education in China has made continued progress. However，people still feel dissatisfied with the corruption within the educational institutions and the poor elementary education，which indicates serious underlying problems. Meanwhile，people’s expectation and enthusiasm for deepening the reform have been aroused by the “National Program for Medium- and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development Project Summary” and a series of related events.
