<<The year 2020 is a year when the global economy has suffered a heavy blow and the world development pattern has undergone great changes. It is also the first year for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port,in which Hainan’s catering industry faced great challenges and obtained unprecedented opportunities for development,and made new explorations in various aspects,including flexible and diverse market operation,improvement and upgrading of dining mode,folk custom and characteristic development,creation of themed health care catering,standardized and branding operation,and various types of business combination,etc. Looking into the future,the catering industry in Hainan will carry out the strategic adjustment for the development strategy of Hainan Free Trade Port in accordance with the “14th Five-year Plan”;promote the development of “large accommodation industry” and “health care catering industry” according to the needs for the construction of the international tourism consumption center in Hainan;vigorously expand the high-quality development of rural accommodation and catering industry on the basis of standardization and intelligence;actively encourage and promote the construction of various standards to form a demonstration effect;speed up the legislation of the hotel and catering industry in Hainan and lay a solid foundation for the development of the industry;encourage the branding development of the industry and build core competitiveness;encourage high-quality innovation in the hotel and catering industry at all levels of the industry.
