At present，COVID-19 has spread all over the world. The global economic situation has deteriorated sharply，and the competition in international financial centers has become increasingly fierce. According to the Global Financial Center Index （GFCI） released in September 2020，Beijing ranks 7th in the world and Singapore ranks 6th. Facing the fierce competition of global financial centers，Beijing can try to learn from some measures and experiences of Singapore. Beijing should adhere to both epidemic control and financial development，accelerate the transformation and reform of digital finance. Beijing should be the active promoter and participant of further regional financial cooperation，and play the role of national financial supervision center and green financial center.
