Tokyo is the first city to run a subway in Asia，it has been nearly a hundred years since its first subway line started running in 1927. Nowadays，there are 13 lines in Tokyo which are managed by two companies. All these 13 lines have 286 stations，more than 10 million people travel by them every day. Tokyo subway is the most important part of Tokyo traffic network. Tokyo subway has developed certain ways to ensure the safety running of lines，cope well with peak-hour crowded.
