The social adaptation problem of “delivery boys” resonates with the vigorous development of new business forms. The study found that in terms of career adaptation，although the income of delivery boys is relatively high，it is based on the high intensity of working hours，and their labor rights and interests are not adequately protected；in terms of life adaptation，the living conditions are poor and the leisure life is monotonous；in terms of interpersonal communication adaptation，delivery boys has narrow social circles，subjectively want to make friends with local people，but feel rejected by locals；in terms of social participation and adaptation，delivery boys have low participation in community activities and lack of attention to community management；in terms of psychological adaptation，delivery boys have a low degree of self-recognition and a weak sense of belonging. Based on the research findings，this paper analyzes the reasons for the problems of delivery boys’ social adaptation，and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote their social adaptation.
