Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China，public security governance has gone through four historical stages：exploration，budding，development，and deepening. The historical changes in control have achieved remarkable results. Based on the concentrated reflection of internal and external risks and higher requirements for safety construction，the modernization of the comprehensive management of public security is constantly improving. In 2020，public security will strive to build a comprehensive governance system of social problems that combines point-line and area，online and offline，civil defense and defense technology，and multiple breakthroughs from four levels：prevention and control timing，prevention and control field，prevention and control means，and prevention and control elements. 2021 is the first year of the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country. We will continue to promote the modernization of the social governance system and governance capabilities，and strive to bring the comprehensive governance of social security into a new stage of higher-quality development.
