The construction of indemnificatory housing projects is both a major livelihood project and a major development project. From 2019 to 2020，Shaanxi Province focused on public rental housing，policy-based rental housing and shared-ownership housing，combined with the promotion of urban shanty areas reconstruction and old residential areas reconstruction，and effectively solved the problem of expensive and difficult housing for low-and middle-income families and new citizens. Squatter settlement，lease subsides，government subsidies for old house renovations，and investment in indemnificatory housing projects have all exceeded the annual construction targets and tasks. However，there are still many problems and challenges in the field of housing security，it is urgent to promote housing security legislation，improve the housing security policy system，and strengthen and standardize the follow-up management of indemnificatory housing.
